Are you new to the world of Interior Design? Are you studying Interior Design? Or perhaps considering a career change?
Join our Designer's Table at the Little Greene Chelsea showroom* as we explore sketching as a powerful communication tool within your interior design projects. Also, it's the first day of London Design Festival so what better way to start the week!
In this workshop Audrey will:
get you started with some traditional drawing techniques using layout paper and scale rulers so that you can map out the proportions of the room you are designing
show you some simple ways to create quick and easy concept sketches from your technical drawing
introduce you to her method for creating perspective sketches
discuss the advantages of sketching as a means to develop and think through your ideas and to communicate effectively with your clients
help you find your drawing style and develop more confidence and skill in this area
chat about her interior design process and answer any questions you have
Bring along a project you are working on and you can use this as the basis for your sketches. Dimensions of the space would be helpful.
Tickets £45 - book here.
Refreshments and drawing materials are included in the ticket price. Each guest can select a free Little Greene Sample Pot of their choice to take home, along with the sketches you have created.
Numbers for this Masterclass are limited to 8 people.
* Little Greene have a fantastic events space on the lower ground floor of their Chelsea showroom, which is where this workshop will take place.

Since setting up her interior design studio 10 years ago, Audrey has worked with over 250 London homeowners at various stages of their projects. She also runs workshops for home-improvers and masterclasses for interior designers new to the industry. By inviting you in on her process, she can show you how she works as an interior designer and you can apply this way of working to your own home or professional project.
