Grab your drawing kit and a cuppa and join our virtual Designer's Table as we explore drawing as a way to make design decisions when updating a room in your home. Whether it’s a child's bedroom or playroom you are planning, this workshop will be helpful to you!

In this online workshop Audrey will:

• get you started with some traditional space planning techniques using graph paper and scale rulers so you can experiment with room layout options (you will be sent a link to the stationary you need before the workshop)

• show you some simple ways to create quick and easy concept sketches from your technical drawing so that you can test out your ideas on paper

• help you discover the advantages of sketching as a means to think through your ideas and communicate them effectively with other decision makers (young and old!)

• help you find your drawing style and develop more confidence and skill in this area

• answer any questions you may have and give you some tips and advice specific to your project

Have your room measurements to hand and you can use these as the basis for your drawings. Full details of what's required will be emailed to you in advance of the class.

You will finish the event with a sketch floorplan and wall elevations of the room and the vision to progress your project to the next level.
