In June I got a phone call out of the blue from Halifax Bank to ask if I would be interested in running workshops there. Interior design workshops in a bank wasn’t an idea that I had thought of before I must admit….but after popping in to see the space and meet the local events manager I was sold on the idea!

It’s the Halifax flagship branch on the corner of New Oxford St and Tottenham Court. Upstairs there is a fantastic space called the Home Hub with a cafe (Change Please) aswell as a large events space.

The link between banking and interior design is that Halifax would like to have a resource to engage their mortgage customers with the inspirational side of home buying, encouraging them to think about decorating, furnishing or indeed renovating their house in advance and factor this in to their budgeting and timescale.

The events will be ticketed, but open to everyone who is interested in attending - there is no need to be a Halifax customer.
