It is so heartwarming to see ideas around creativity and collaboration emerge within the design industry at the moment. Designers and suppliers coming together in new ways to help and support each other through these challenging times.
One great example of this is the Collaborative Moodboard Project by textile and rug designer Claire Gaudion and I am delighted to be one of the collaborating brands!
“While we are all spending more time living and working at home, you might be looking around and wondering how you can improve your environment. Are you planning some DIY over the coming weeks
while staying at home, or are you simply in need of some colourful design distraction?” – Claire Gaudion
Staying busy at the moment and being positive is key, especially for our mental health, and Claire Gaudion are encouraging people to share ideas, collaborate with others and start new projects to help us through this difficult time. That is why they have launched this Collaborative Moodboard Project, completely free of charge.
Claire Gaudion, in the spirit of collaboration and bringing the design community together, have brought together a mix of collaborating brands, from product designers, interior designers to interiors/lifestyle photographers etc, to ensure your personalised mood board will provide plenty of inspiration to give your home a boost!
So how does it work? Head over to the Claire Gaudion website where you will be asked to answer a few questions about yourself and your personal preferences and taste. Then the team will get to work creating your personalised moodboard full of inspiration tailored to your specifications. Click here to get started right now…
Claire and I were lucky enough to meet in person in early March - when Deirdre and I interviewed her as a guest for a future episode of The DnA of Home Interiors Podcast. I had already been eyeing up much of Claire’s work as she is one of the retailers on Deirdre’s home furnishings comparison website ufurnish.com (where you can search and shop for furnishings in one place). Follow us @thednaofhomeinteriors to hear when the episode with Claire Gaudion is released!
